Friday Nights

Washed: (adj.) not doing what you think the people your age should be doing; i.e. being at the club, when it's going up on a Tuesday, and things like that

    I actually looked up what "washed" meant on Urban Dictionary and it was a bunch of stuff that I think white people wrote. 

                                           

So I made up my own definition.  I think it's 95% accurate. Anywho, let me continue this by saying there should be no shame towards us 20-somethings that are washed.  I can proudly say that I'm washed. Here's why being washed is not an offensive term to be called: it's colder than freezer burnt ground beef outside. In short, I don't have time. (I'll have another reason when Spring shows up. For now this will suffice.) But let's visit why I am washed.

It's Friday night, and I'm at home with no intentions of going out...no desires my friends.  

I did think about it because it IS Friday night, but it's freezing outside.  I know this by looking out the window. Anything that's outside isn't for me.

My boyfriend (let's call him J5) and I have drank more than a half a bottle of 1800 by ourselves.  And are at a level 2 of drunkeness....ok maybe, 4.5, with, again, no plans.

J5 is getting in the bed....it is 10:31pm on a Friday night.

Last week we were in the bed by 11pm.  I hated all of it, but I was sound asleep not to long after.

To increase the turn up, I proposed that we take 2 shots before we go our separate ways.  The 2nd shot has been put on hold so I can finish writing the introductory post for this blog.

Once the 2nd shot is taken, Flashlight will be on repeat, as I go down the Soul Train line, by myself...AND LIVE.

                                               

On 2nd thought, I probably shouldn't leave that on repeat because they drop it like it's hot alot on Soul Train (in the 70's), and hence as I imitate these dances, I must take caution. I'm pretty sure I have a good 5 years left of dropping it like it's hot before my knees completely forsake me and I'm left at the bottom of the dance floor begging for a helping hand.
